PG Orbit, now on Linux.
The same PostgreSQL client you use on your phone and Mac, as a native Linux app. On Omarchy it takes its colors from your theme and changes with it, live.
Version 2.6.0 · x86_64 · All releases and checksums
Made for Omarchy
Leave the theme on System and PG Orbit reads your active Omarchy theme: the app, the SQL editor's syntax colors, and the results grid all match it, light or dark. Switch themes and PG Orbit switches with you, no restart. On Hyprland it skips the GTK title bar, so it tiles like the rest of your desktop.
Install
One command: installs, adds PG Orbit to your app launcher, and updates when you run it again
curl -fsSL https://pgorbit.com/install.sh | sh
No root needed.
Read the script
first if you like. To remove it:
curl -fsSL https://pgorbit.com/install.sh | sh -s -- --uninstall
Or download a file. The first time you open it, PG Orbit adds itself to your app launcher, and it tells you when an update is out.
AppImage
One file. Make it executable and run it.
chmod +x PG_Orbit-2.6.0-x86_64.AppImage
./PG_Orbit-2.6.0-x86_64.AppImage
Tarball
Extract and run. A desktop entry and icons are included under share/.
tar xzf pg-orbit-2.6.0-linux-x64.tar.gz
./pg-orbit-2.6.0/pg_orbit
Requires x86_64, glibc 2.38 or newer, GTK 3, and libsecret with a Secret Service provider such as GNOME Keyring or KeePassXC, which keeps your saved passwords.
Free to use. Premium is $9.99, once.
Browsing and read-only queries are free forever. There's no app store on Linux, so Premium is bought from the app's paywall on the web and unlocks with the license key we email you. Bought it on the web before? Sign in with the same email and it unlocks automatically.
